About US
Four Paws is owned and run by me Beth, with the help of my noisy sidekicks Boo, Albus, Pickett and Dougee, my mum Meg and my little girl. We live on site and are always around to welcome you, answer any questions, and offer ideas of what to do during your stay.

The idea of Four Paws began 5 years ago whilst living back in Bristol. I wanted a career change and the idea of running a holiday site had always appealed. So with long dog walks and beautiful views in mind, we made the move to Aberystwyth!

The main focus of the business is to offer high quality but affordable accommodation, which is completely dog friendly. As a dog owner myself I know how difficult it is to find somewhere that not only allows dogs, but welcomes them and doesn't make you feel like they shouldn't be there. So I have developed this site with the dogs' needs always at the top of the list. After all, we all know who's boss right!?

The site currently has 1 glamping pod, (with 3 more coming soon) with its own hot tub, fire pit and enclosed garden. This allows you to enjoy a private relaxing break knowing your dogs are safe.
The surroundings
The Four Paws site is on a farm with sheep grazing the fields all around, so we ask all guests to be responsible for your dogs and keep them on a lead once you have left the fenced pod area.
*Any incidents of dogs harming the sheep will be the responsibility of the dogs owner, and they will be liable for any charges from the farmer*

Each pod is inside its own enclosed area, with a small space for the dogs to stretch their legs and go to the toilet. Down next to the carpark is a fenced in area for the dogs to exercise and play on the agility equipment.
You are welcome to use the 3 fields surrounding the glampsite to explore with your dog as these are owned by us. There is also a bridle path that runs along the fields behind if you fancy a longer stroll. There can be sheep in any of these fields so please keep your dogs on a lead around any livestock.
There is also a woodland path a 10 minute walk away down the drive and along the road to the right. This has a great view towards town and the Cambrian hills, and is a good path for dogs to run along and burn some energy!

We often have birds of prey, including Red Kites and buzzards, flying overhead so keep your eyes peeled! Clear nights are perfect for star gazing, with a brilliant view of the night sky from your decking or hot tub. This is a dark sky area so the stars are very clear and we have seen many shooting stars when we have taken our beanbag up the hill to star gaze!
