The seafront in Aberystwyth has two pebble beaches, a cliff top path with stunning views across the bay, and even a funicular railway.
The pier has fish & chips, arcade games, a bar with pool, ping pong, bowling and more.
Dogs are welcome in certain parts of the pier, including the sea view seating at the back.

Leading off the carpark is short walk along the river with places for the dogs to have a paddle, and a couple of picnic benches. If you cross over the road there are several different paths up through the trees, with view points and streams for the dogs to explore. There is also a wide main path if you own a ball fanatic like me...

Bwlch Nant Yr Arian or 'The Red Kite Centre' is a stunning nature reserve with wide stretching views and lots of Red Kites! Its a great place to explore with the dogs, with different walking trails, a mountain bike track, and an amazing display round the lake when the red kites get fed around 2/3pm (depending on the season).

Ynyslas beach is a beautiful dog friendly beach, north of Aberystwyth in the village of Borth. It has stunning sand dunes and views over to Aberdyfi. It's a brilliant space to wear the dogs out, as you can park on the beach and then walk through the sand dunes to the wide expanse of sand, and let them run! It's definitely our dogs 'happy space'.

Hafod is a 200 acre picturesque estate with 5 marked trails through woodland, past the Ystwyth valley's rocky gorges, and into Mrs Johnes' Flower Garden. It includes a beautiful waterfall, a big stone archway at the top of the gorge, and many handcrafted wooden bridges. Its a fantastic place to take memorable pictures and let your dogs stop and sniff everything!
